The troubled star of Warner Bros’ major upcoming superhero movie has made headlines for all the wrong reasons, some of which were a bit of a stretch so that their fans won’t take them seriously anymore.

The 29-year-old actor was recently seen at a studio in Burbank, California with their agent Scott Metzger of CAA. Miller and Metzger sat with new Warner Bros. executives. Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdi, who took over in early July to talk about the film and the Fantastic Beasts actor’s next step. The Flash is set to premiere on June 23, 2023, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, the meeting could have been about how to keep the actor on track. Many insiders claim the giant production company is keen to release the film despite Miller’s accusations of babysitting teenagers and holding people hostage on the ranch. This is something that would immediately lead to the cancellation of other stars, and people have even suggested that Miller is being protected due to their non-binary status.

Sources claimed that De Luca and Abdi were considering abandoning the insanely expensive project if things ever got worse with Miller. Although they weren’t bothered by the headlines, they were concerned about the film and decided to take a step to protect their dream project. One source told THR: “They take care of The Flash. This is one of their favorite characters.” It’s also the first time they’ve spoken to De Luca and Abdi, who took over the film department in early July and inherited DC’s plan through various stages of post-production.

Another reason the movie is definitely coming out is because it has received some of the highest ratings in test screenings since Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. After rumors hinted at a possible cancellation of the long-awaited film, Miller walked out of their lair and apologized. In a statement provided to Variety by a spokesperson for the actor, they said, “Having recently gone through a period of major crisis, I now realize that I am suffering from complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone. that I am disturbed and upset by my past behavior. I am determined to do the necessary work to return to a healthy, safe and productive phase of my life.”
