When we talk about influencers, we often think of twenty year old instagrammers and tiktokers. But nowadays content creators are starting out younger and younger.
A so-called “kidfluencer” is a person under the age of 16 who has established themselves on social media to generate views and engagement, and some have millions of followers. If they are very small, often the parent manages the account.
From gamers like Ethan Gamer, who has amassed over 3 billion views on his YouTube videos, to 5-year-old twins Tatum and Oakley Fisher, it seems kids influencers are here to stay. And many now have their own family channels on YouTube. It’s a completely different world.
Here are some of the biggest kidfluencers from around the world.
Koko is 11 years old and lives in Harajuku, Toiko. She is a well-known fashion influencer who has worked with major brands such as Burberry, Gucci and Marc Jacobs and showcases her sartorial style through her account, which is run by her parents, who own a clothing store in Tokyo.
Everly Rose from the USA is the daughter of Savannah Rose Labrant, already a well-known YouTuber and fashion designer, who has over 7 million followers on Instagram. A passionate dancer, she was ranked among the top 15 protégés at the Radix Dance Championships and also has her own YouTube account. She is also related to two other kid influencers mentioned on this list: powerful twins Oakley and Tatum Fisher are her cousins.
Elle is only six years old, so her account is run by her mom, fitness model Katherine McBroom (who has 7 million followers) and dad Austin McBroom, a professional basketball player (another 6.4 million). Naturally, the family of influencers are used to being in the spotlight and, like many family influencers these days, have their own YouTube channel, The Ace Family, which now has almost 19 million subscribers.
Feteh is a 15-year-old content creator and social media star from Indonesia. He already has over 5 million followers on Instagram and his YouTube channel has over 6.75 million subscribers and his videos have received over 279 million views since he started in 2014. Fateh is also an actor and made his film debut in Ashiap Man. – The trailer alone has 3 million views. Fateh followed in the footsteps of his brother Atta Khailintar, another YouTube influencer.
Titum and Oakley Fisher are 5-year-old twins of the famous couple Kyler Fisher and Madison Bontempo. Both parents work in the entertainment industry, so they decided to create an account for their twins. The twins also appeared on the hit series Pretty Little Liars, and their success on Instagram paved the way for their younger sister, Halston Blake Fisher, who has a separate account with 578,000 followers.
Ethan is a 12 year old British kidfluencer with over 3 million subscribers on his YouTube channel EthanGamer which has over 3 billion views. He even has his own merchandise store where his fans can buy clothes with the EGTV logo. In 2016, he received the “YouTube Star of the Year” award at the MEGA Awards.
Thalia Putri Onsu @thaliaputrionsu – 3.7 million followers
Thalia is a singer, actress and the daughter of Indonesian celebrity couple Sarvenda Tan and Ruben Onsu. Talia and her family also have their own YouTube channel called Diary De Onso Terbaru which also features their other children Bretrand Peto, Putra Onso and Tanya Putri Onso. The channel now has over 9 million subscribers.
Laerta is a young fashionista who loves to share her travels around the world. She has previously worked with brands such as Burberry and DKNY and maintains a personal blog, Fashion by Laerta fashionlaerta.com.
Hawkeye is a 12-year-old photographer who became the youngest photographer for National Geographic magazine. He is the son of photographer Aaron Huey (who also runs his account) and his feed chronicles many of his adventures in New York.
Niana is a content creator from the Philippines with over 14 million followers on Instagram and another 33 million on TikTok. She creates content with her brother Ranz Kyle and in 2019 the couple won a Kids Choice Entertainment Award for their YouTube content. Meanwhile, TikTok spotted her with a CICP Spotlight Award in the Superstar category. In fact, she is the most followed person on TikTk in the Philippines and is well known for her “day in the life” and pranks, which have combined been viewed over 1 billion times.
