Who is Markantoine Lynch-Boisvert? Making the Cut contestant is a lecturer

season 3 Making a cut works successfully on Amazon Prime video. The show premiered on August 19 featuring ten aspiring fashion designers. One such talented designer is Marcantoine Lynch-Boisvert from Montrith, who is also a lecturer.

Further added:

“The winner of the series will receive $1 million to invest in their business and mentor with Amazon Fashion. The winner will also have the opportunity to create an exclusive co-brand with Amazon Fashion and launch their existing brands in the Amazon Fashion store.”

Making a cutMarcantoine of Marcantoine runs his own skateboarding clothing brand.

Marcantoine, 33, is originally from Shawinigan and moved to Montreal to pursue a career in fashion design. He studied at the University of Quebec in Montreal to acquire the necessary skills that interested him.

In 2015, the designer completed the Fashion Management and Design program at his university. While in college, he did an internship in Paris as an assistant to Aline Ochoa for a semester. He then contributed to the development of the brand’s image as a subcontractor to the successful LVMH group.

After graduating from college, he quickly founded his own French-Canadian brand MARKANTOINE, which designed concept clothing for skateboarding. Its website described the purpose of the brand as:

“MRKNTN is born from the eclectic mind of Montreal designer Marcantoine.”

It further says:

“With an unexpected approach to design, this concept skatewear brand exudes nostalgia through a combination of period techniques, disparate cinematic references and vibrant youthful energy. Our innovative studio strongly believes in the power of a strong and driven vision, season after season. , MRKNTN tells you a story you can wear.”

One of his brand’s collections, sustainable underwear for men and women, is entirely made in Quebec. This particular collaboration of his was included in several associations that eventually led to him presenting his Spring/Summer 2022 collection at Paris Fashion Week.

In addition to design, Marcantoine also teaches marketing and fashion design at LaSalle College. With a strong interest in the fashion industry, the designer has also been involved in MMODE, the Quebec fashion cluster, as an active member with many ideas for the future of fashion in Quebec.

In the upcoming show Making a cutBoisvert has been selected to participate in the premiere of the designer’s exhibition alongside the one and only Thierry Mugler.

Interestingly, during adolescence Making a cut the member originally designed clothes for his friends. It was then that he realized that he wanted to be a designer.
